Amy Schumer Dresses as an Astronaut at Women's March, Joins Jessica Chastain & More!

Amy Schumer and her friends showed up to the 2017 Women’s March on Saturday afternoon (January 21) in Washington, D.C., in full NASA attire!

The meaning behind the 35-year-old comedian’s outfit choice isn’t exactly clear.

Amy met up with Neil deGrasse Tyson for an interview the other day wearing the same outfit, explaining to him that she wanted to be prepared for any situation. She could be trying send a message to new President Donald Trump about NASA. Or, she could just be reminding the world that women can be astronauts, too.

Amy was joined at the event by Jessica Chastain, Chloe Moretz, Madonna, pregnant Amber Tamblyn, and more. Head to our gallery to see the pics!

She also ran into Lena Dunham and captured the amazing moment below.

We want the best for all Americans. No hate, no bigotry, no Muslim registry. We value education, health care and equality,” Alicia said to the crowd before breaking into a quick rendition of “Girl on Fire.”

Janelle gave a fiery speech before singing her protest song “Hell You Talmbout” along with Jidenna and others backing her up. She was joined by the mothers of police-related deaths and other unjust deaths to shout out the names of those who were killed.
