Toni Braxton and Birdman are revealing their wedding plans!

The 52-year-old “Un-Break My Heart” music icon opened up about her plans for marriage in an interview with the Rick & Sasha morning show on Thursday (April 9).

“We have been going back and forth on wedding dates. We had a great date but then it was getting too big, we didn’t want a big wedding. Then we said, ‘OK, we don’t want it too small.’ Then he said, ‘OK, let’s do the drive through.’ I’m like, ‘We are not doing a drive through. I’m not ordering fries after we get married, babe,’” she said.

“We’ve been trying to figure it out, but we are definitely gonna do it this year.”

The on-again, off-again couple, who have known each other for two decades, started dating in 2016 and announced their engagement in 2018.

Toni Braxton and Birdman have ended their engagement after over two years together.

The couple alluded to their split on social media, after unfollowing each other on Instagram.

Both Toni and Birdman wiped their Instagrams clean before posting cryptic messages.

“Starting a new chapter isn’t always an easy choice…but ALWAYS choose to be chosen. Cheers to a new year,” Toni wrote.

Meanwhile, Birdman took to his Instagram story, writing, “It’s over…”

The former couple had been friends for over 17 years, after meeting while working on “Baby You Can Do It” together. Toni and Birdman went public with their romantic relationship in May of 2016 and got engaged last February.

The 50-year-old “Un-Break My Heart” singer and the 49-year-old “Stuntin’ Like My Daddy” rapper are officially engaged.

Rumors have been swirling about the news for a few weeks now, as Toni has been seen wearing a ring on her ring finger in recent photos and videos.

Toni made the exciting announcement in a teaser for the upcoming season of her WE show, Braxton Family Values.

“I have an announcement to make,” she told her family, putting her massive diamond on display and screaming, “I’m engaged!”

Toni and Birdman first met in 2002 while working on “Baby You Can Do It” together, going on to date in May 2016 and making their first public appearance as a couple at the 2016 BET Awards in June later that year.

Toni was previously married to Keri Lewis for 12 years. They broke up in 2013 and share two sons together.

Birdman was the big winner of the night at the 2015 Academy Awards held at the Dolby Theatre on Sunday (February 22) in Hollywood.

The movie picked up the award for Best Picture along with three other prizes – Best Director for Alejandro Gonzalez Inarritu, Best Original Screenplay, and Best Cinematography.

The film tied for the most wins of the night with The Grand Budapest Hotel, which won many of the creative awards including Best Original Score.

The cast of Birdman won big at the 2015 Screen Actors Guild Awards held at the Shrine Auditorium on Sunday (January 25) in Los Angeles.

The seven actors who lead the cast won the award for Outstanding Performance by a Cast in a Motion Picture, beating out the casts of Boyhood, The Grand Budapest Hotel, The Imitation Game, and The Theory of Everything.

During the acceptance speech, all of the actors – Michael Keaton, Edward Norton, Emma Stone, Naomi Watts, Zach Galifianakis, Andrea Riseborough, and Amy Ryan – were given a chance to say something short and sweet.

Nicki Minaj and Lil Wayne hit the stage while attending the 2013 BMI R&B/Hip-Hop Awards held at the Hammerstein Ballroom on Thursday (August 22) in New York City.

The 30-year-old entertainers were joined by Mario, Sean Kingston, Busta Rhymes, Ray J, Benny Blanco, Birdman, and L.A. Reid at the event honoring the songwriters, producers and publishers of the most-performed R&B/hip-hop songs of the previous year.

“#bmirnbhiphopawards like 7 awards tonite i think,” Nicki wrote on her Twitter account. “I lost count. And cash money is being honored. Thx BMI.”

Emma Stone films a scene for her new movie Birdman on Wednesday afternoon (April 10) in New York City.

The film is about a “former actor (Michael Keaton), who once played an iconic superhero, as he mounts a Broadway play based on a Raymond Carver short story in a bid to reclaim past glory. However, the play’s egotistical leading man threatens to throw everything down the tubes,” according to THR.

Emma will be playing the actor’s daughter who just got out of rehab and is now his assistant.
