Descendants 3 is officially a go!

After sharing several teasers this week, Disney just confirmed that the third installment of the massively popular movie will premiere in 2019.

The film, which stars Dove Cameron, Sofia Carson, Cameron Boyce and Booboo Stewart, will finally let fans know who Mal’s villain father is.

China Anne McClain and Mitchell Hope as well as director Kenny Ortega will also return for D3.

Production on the movie is set to begin this summer in Vancouver, Canada.

The new movie Descendants 2 will be premiering tonight and it’s not only airing on Disney Channel… it will air on ABC, Freeform, Lifetime, and more!

Dove Cameron, Sofia Carson, Cameron Boyce, and Booboo Stewart are reprising their roles in the sequel to their smash hit Disney Channel Original Movie.

The film follows the children of some of the fan favorite villains from Disney movies, including Maleficent, the Evil Queen, Cruella de Vil, and Jafar. Six original songs were written by Teen Beach Movie and High School Musical composer Daniel Lawrence.

New cast members include Thomas Doherty, who is currently dating Dove, and China Anne McClain!

Two new indie films had their big Los Angeles premieres this week – It’s Gawd and Battle Scars!

Tommy Chong and Booboo Stewart stepped out alongside co-stars Cindy Vela and Caridee English at the premiere of It’s Gawd on Wednesday (July 12) at The Grove.

Here is the film’s synopsis: Desperate to save the world, (and his job), the creator of Earth journeys to the planet to reconnect with humankind- via an internet variety show. it was directed by Gerald Brunskill and co-produced by Jennifer Birn.

Battle Scars stars Amy Davidson and Zane Holtz were joined by friends Colin Egglesfield and Jessica Hall at their premiere the same night in Beverly Hills The film is helping to spread an important message to bring awareness to P.T.S.D. when a soldier returns to his small town life, trying to adjust back into reality while dealing with a life-altering injury.

It’s Gawd is available to stream on Amazon Prime Video now. Battle Scars is playing now in limited theaters and it’s also available on iTunes and VOD.

Dove Cameron, Cameron Boyce, Booboo Stewart, and Sofia Carson hit the red carpet at the premiere of their new Disney Channel Original Movie, Descendants 2, on Tuesday (July 11) in Hollywood.

Other stars from the movie who were in attendance included China Anne McClain, Mitchell Hope, Dianne Doan, Brenna D’Amico, Dylan Playfair, and Jedidiah Goodacre.

Stepping out to show their support for the film included Famous in Love‘s Georgie Flores, UnREAL‘s Constance Zimmer, Bunk’d‘s Karan Brar, High School Musical‘s Monique Coleman, and The Mick‘s Thomas Barbusca.

Dove Cameron, Sabrina Carpenter, and Sofia Carson hit the red carpet at the 2017 Radio Disney Music Awards on Saturday afternoon (April 29) at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles.

Dove and Sofia were joined at the event by their Descendants 2 co-stars Cameron Boyce, Booboo Stewart, and China Anne McClain to promote their upcoming Disney Channel Original Movie!

Camila Cabello stepped out at the event to accept the Ardy for Best Collaboration for her song “Bad Things” with Machine Gun Kelly.

Other stars in attendance included young style star Skai Jackson and America’s Got Talent winner Grace VanderWaal.

Ariana Grande hangs out with Minnie Mouse at the Disney Parks Unforgettable Christmas Celebration taping in Magic Kingdom park at Walt Disney World Resort on Thursday afternoon (November 12) in Lake Buena Vista, Fla.

The 22-year-old “Focus” singer hit the glitzy stage along with Andy Grammer, Jason Derulo, Jhene Aiko, Charles Perry, Seal, Tori Kelly, and Reba McEntire.

Other stars like Janel Parrish, Charlie Puth, and the Descendants cast Dove Cameron, Sofia Carson, Booboo Stewart, and Cameron Boyce were seen filming their segments earlier in the week.

The 19-year-old actress is starring in the new ABC Family/Freeform series Shadowhunters and she just got back home after wrapping up the first season.
