Cee Lo Green hits the stage dressed as Patti LaBelle to perform in a tribute to the singer at the 2011 BET Awards held at the Shrine Auditorium on Sunday (June 26) in Los Angeles.

The 37-year-old “F**k You” singer has dropped out of Rihanna‘s Loud tour, in which he has been performing as an opening act for the past few weeks.

“He always puts 100 percent into his work and with the requirements and time commitment to The Voice, on top of heading back into the recording studio and an upcoming book, he feels that he wouldn’t give his fans the show that they deserve,” a rep for Cee Lo said in a statement.

Christina Aguilera, Adam Levine, Cee Lo Green, and Blake Shelton belt out a medley of Queen hits during The Voice on Tuesday (June 7).

The coaches all hit the stage together to perform during the first live show – complete with pyrotechnics at the end!

Adam kicked it off, singing “Bohemian Rhapsody,” before Cee Lo got the crowd clapping with “We Will Rock You.”

Blake then joined in with Adam on the guitar, before Christina joined the guys for “We Are the Champions”!

“I flubbed a note during the guitar solo. Who cares it was mostly awesome,” Adam tweeted.

Cee Lo Green performs on stage at the 2011 Billboard Music Awards held at the MGM Grand Garden Arena on Sunday (May 22) in Las Vegas, Nev.

The 36-year-old singer performed a medley of his hit songs including “Crazy,” “Bright Lights Big City,” and “Forget You.”

During his performance, Cee Lo‘s piano and chair flew through the air doing flips and turns, including a 360 degree turn!

The track surfaced around the same time Cee Lo appeared on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon earlier this week, where he revealed he and Christina had recorded a duet before appearing on their NBC show.

“We did a song together about a few years ago. It actually was supposed to make the Burlesque soundtrack, but it didn’t make it. But I’ve been seeing people tweet about it lately so I think they’re going to release it,” the 36-year-old singer shared.

Cee Lo Green and Maroon 5 rocker Adam Levine have joined the cast of NBC’s new competition series, The Voice!

Cee Lo and Adam will serve as two of four coaches featured on the Mark Burnett show, which will debut on Tuesday (April 26) at 9/8c on NBC.

“The Voice is based on a Dutch hit in which contestants audition while judges face the other direction, unable to see the contestants,” EW explains.

“The judges make their verdicts based on the singer’s vocal talent alone rather than being influenced by the contestant’s physical appearance. After the audition rounds, the judges will coach the contestants.”

Check out the video for Cee Lo Green‘s “Bodies,” which features cameos by Kerry Washington, Janelle Monae, and legendary fashion designer Karl Lagerfeld.

The video was directed by Mikael Colombu and is an animated adventure a la his “F–k You” video, yet this one is more serious than fun.

It was recently announced that Cee Lo will be joining forces with Rihanna to tour around the country on her summer outing!
