Debbie Reynolds' Cause of Death Revealed

Debbie Reynolds‘ cause of death has been confirmed after speculation in the media that she died from a stroke on December 28, one day after her daughter Carrie Fisher passed away.

The 84-year-old actress passed from an intracerebral hemorrhage, which is essentially a stroke. A blood vessel ruptured and caused bleeding in her brain, TMZ reports. The death certificate also lists hypertension as a cause for the stroke.

Carrie Fisher‘s cause of death is still not official as more tests will need to be done.

Carrie Fisher & Debbie Reynolds Laid to Rest, Billie Lourd Gets Support from Taylor Lautner at Burial

Carrie Fisher and Debbie Reynolds were laid to rest in a burial at Forest Lawn Memorial Park on Friday morning (January 6) in Los Angeles.

The legendary mother-daughter duo died within one day of each other last week. Carrie was reportedly cremated and her ashes were partially buried next to her mother.

Carrie‘s daughter Billie Lourd received support from her rumored boyfriend Taylor Lautner at the ceremony. He has been by her side for the past two weeks giving her all the support she needs during this difficult time. We will not be posting photos of the family in mourning out of respect for those grieving.

Billie gave a speech at the private memorial service held at the family compound on Thursday. Meryl Streep gave a performance of her friend Carrie‘s favorite song “Happy Days Are Here Again” and many other celebs were there to pay their respects.

Carrie Fisher and Debbie Reynolds are being remembered by friends and family at a private memorial service being held at their Beverly Hills compound right now on Thursday (February 5).

Among the guests at the service are Carrie‘s daughter Billie Lourd and her brother Todd Fisher.

Meryl Streep is at the service and she is reportedly delivering a eulogy to the late mother-daughter duo, who both passed away last week. She famously played Carrie in the semi-autobiographical film Postcards from the Edge.

Taylor Lautner, Billie‘s rumored boyfriend, was also seen arriving at the service. Out of respect for the family, we will not be posting photos of them during this time of mourning.

Gwyneth Paltrow, Meg Ryan, Candice Bergen, Penny Marshall, Tracey Ullman, Stephen Fry, Richard Dreyfuss, Courtney Love, Frances Bean Cobain, and Ellen Barkin were also in attendance at the memorial.

Carrie and Debbie are set to be buried at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Los Angeles on Friday.

HBO has just released the first trailer for their upcoming documentary about Carrie Fisher and Debbie Reynolds.

Bright Lights: Starring Carrie Fisher and Debbie Reynolds follows the mother-daughter between 2014 and 2015 as Debbie prepared to accept her Screen Actors Guild Life Achievement Award.

The documentary chronicles the “story of the family’s complicated love,” shows “an intimate portrait of Hollywood royalty in all its eccentricity” and features plenty of sweet moments.

In the trailer, the women open up about aging, Carrie‘s mental health, and being best friends.

Bright Lights will premiere on January 7 at 8 PM on HBO.

Debbie Reynolds & Carrie Fisher Private Memorial to be Held This Week

Debbie Reynolds and Carrie Fisher‘s family have set a date for their memorial service.

According to THR, the mother and daughter duo will be remembered by friends and family during a small, private service on Thursday (January 5) at their home in Beverly Hills, Calif.

“I’m not sure what they’re calling it ­�” a funeral or a wake ­�” but it will be Thursday at the house. It will be exactly what they both wanted, to be together,” the source explained.

Following the service, Carrie and Debbie will be buried on Friday (January 6) at Forest Lawn Cemetery, according to People.

The family has not announced when a public memorial service will be held, but have mentioned that it is something they would like to do.

Ryan Gosling Thanks Debbie Reynolds During PSIFF Acceptance Speech

When Ryan Gosling accepted the Vangaurd Award at the Palm Springs International Film Festival, he had someone special to thank.

During his acceptance speech, the 36-year-old actor paid tribute to the late Debbie Reynolds, who he says inspired the cast of La La Land during filming.

“I wish I could have said this in person but I’d like to thank Debbie Reynolds for her wonderful career of work,” he said on stage.

Ryan added, “She was an inspiration to us every day. We watched Singing in the Rain every day for inspiration, a truly unparalleled talent so thank you to her for all that inspiration.”
