DeMario Jackson is speaking out, though he’s not saying much, for the first time since production was shut down on Bachelor in Paradise.

The reality star, who had a short-lived appearance on The Bachelorette this season, was spotted by paparazzi on Tuesday (June 13) in Los Angeles.

DeMario was involved in an incident on set in which he and a female contestant got very drunk and sexual contact happened in which the woman reportedly did not give consent.

“I have nothing to say,” DeMario told cameras in a video obtained by Entertainment Tonight. He added that the contestant involved in the situation is “an awesome girl and that’s all I have to say.”

Corinne Olympios and DeMario Jackson‘s hookup reportedly caused production to halt on Bachelor in Paradise, and we’re now learning that it’s because a producer suspected sexual assault.

Sources spoke about what happened and it appears that Corinne was very drunk during her hookup with DeMario while in Mexico. One producer on the show, who was assigned to shadow Corinne, heard from onlookers that she was so drunk in the pool and didn’t know what was going on. It’s an issue of consent, and it’s unclear if the producer was an eye witness to the pool hookup, TMZ reports.

DeMario claims the encounter was completely consensual. People who have seen the footage claim Corinne seems “fully engaged.”

Sources are saying a hookup between DeMario Jackson and Corinne Olympios on Bachelor in Paradise caused production to halt, and now, it’s unclear if production will continue.

Though it’s unclear at this point exactly what happened between DeMario and Corinne, a source is telling People that production on the show is not likely to continue. The cast has left Mexico, where filming was taking place. No official statement has been made from Warner Bros about the status of the show.

Los Angeles Times reporter Amy Kaufman got the scoop, saying, two of the cast members, DeMario Jackson and Corinne Olympios, got very drunk the first night of filming, stripped off their clothing, got into the pool and things turned into “soft core porn.”

A producer who witnessed DeMario and Corinne did not show up for work the next day and ended up suing the production for misconduct.

Something crazy happened on the second episode of The Bachelorette tonight when Rachel Lindsay was surprised by the girlfriend of one of the contestants!

During the second group date of the night, a woman approached Rachel and claimed to be the girlfriend of one of the guys.

The woman said that the contestant in question was one of the four guys introduced on The Bachelor’s After the Final Rose episode back in March. She had been dating him up until a few days before the show aired, when she was surprised to see him appear on the program. She said he abruptly cut off contact with her when he was cast on The Bachelorette.

Rachel ultimately made the decision to send the guy home on the spot when he couldn’t come up with a good explanation of the situation.
