Kristin Chenoweth played quite the April Fools Day prank on her fans.

The Tony-winning actress took to Instagram where she posted a video announcing her break from the business.

“This business has been so good to me,” Kristin says, which you can watch below. “I’m going to take a couple years off and spend some time with my dog on the dog show circuit cause I truly believe in her, and I want to see her win.”

We know this not to be true as Kristin was is set to star in the upcoming CBS legal drama pilot Perfect Citizen.

Julie Andrews is speaking out to voice her frustration with President Donald Trump‘s 2018 budget proposal for America.

The 81-year-old actress (along with tons of other celebs) is not happy with the massive budget cuts to arts programs to increase spending in military and homeland security.

“This is mind-boggling to us, considering how much the arts benefit our lives and our world,” Julie and her daughter Emma Hamilton wrote in an an op-ed column for CNN on Thursday (March 16). “They foster collaboration and creativity, essential skills for navigating in the workplace and surviving in a challenging world.”

“They cultivate empathy and tolerance, by bridging cultural and socioeconomic divides,” they went on. “They’re also good for business: They spur urban renewal, promote tourism and generate hundreds of billions of dollars in economic activity annually.”

“Julie has heard from countless people over the decades who believe their lives were enriched by the inspiration, comfort and sense of connection they received from the music, stories, films and productions in which she was fortunate enough to participate,” they added.

Last year, there was talk of Princess Diaries 3 happening with the original cast (Anne Hathaway and Julie Andrews) returning under the helm of original director Garry Marshall.

Garry tragically passed away back in July.

Now, months later, Julie is giving an update on the project.

“There’s talk about it. And [Anne]‘s very keen to do it. I would very willingly and happily do it,” Julie told BuzzFeed.

“I think we might do it in honor of him. Annie had an idea that she wanted to pursue about it, and I’m all for it, so if she’d like to…,” Julie said on honoring the late director.

Julie did also add that it is very early, and since movies take a long time to make, it won’t be happening soon.

James Corden arrives in style for Lincoln Center’s American Songbook Gala on Wednesday night (February 1) at Alice Tully Hall in New York City.

The 38-year-old late night talk show host was joined on the red carpet by fellow guests Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos.

James hosted the event where benefits will go towards supporting the American Songbook series and Lincoln Center’s other performance festivals, as well as its educational and community initiatives.

During the event, Julie Andrews joined on Carol Burnett and Christine Baranki for a performance while Faith Hill and Tim McGraw performed an intimate duet.

Emily Blunt is set to play Mary Poppins in an upcoming sequel and she is revealing what original star Julie Andrews had to say about her casting.

While the 33-year-old actress hasn’t spoken to Julie herself, she said director Rob Marshall had a chance to tell her about the casting before the news broke.

“Rob said he was in the Hamptons, and he saw [Andrews], and he said, ‘It’s top secret, but Emily Blunt‘s playing Mary Poppins,’” she told EW. “And she went, ‘Oh, wonderful!’”

“I felt like I wanted to cry,” Emily added. “It was lovely to get her stamp of approval. That took the edge off it, for sure.”

Cool news! It is being reported that Julie Andrews and Dick Van Dyke are going to make appearances in the upcoming Mary Poppins sequel!

Mary Poppins Returns is set to star Emily Blunt as the title character while Lin-Manuel Miranda will play a Bert-like character. Meryl Streep will be playing the title nanny’s cousin Topsy.

“Plans are underway” for the original movie’s stars to appear in the sequel, according to E! News.

Julie won an Oscar for her work as Mary Poppins in the first movie, which won five Academy Awards in total.

Hilary Swank is gorgeous as she hits the red carpet at The Los Angeles Philharmonic 2015/2016 Season Opening Night Gala held at the Walt Disney Concert Hall on Tuesday (September 29) in Los Angeles.

The 41-year-old actress was joined by Bryce Dallas Howard, Mozart in the Jungle‘s Gael García Bernal, Julie Andrews, The Strain‘s Mia Maestro, and Scooby-Doo‘s Matthew Lillard at the event featuring a special performance by John Williams, one of the greatest film composers of all time.
