The Comeback Girl, a Showtime limited series set to star Kathryn Hahn as the late Joan Rivers, is no longer moving forward and has been scrapped completely.
The show was supposed to take place after the cancellation of The Late Show Starring Joan Rivers, which coincided with the death of her husband, Edgar Rosenberg, by suicide.

Apple TV+ has released a new trailer for their upcoming series The Shrink Next Door!
The streaming service dropped the trailer for the new dark comedy starring Paul Rudd and Will Ferrell on Tuesday, October 12, exactly one month before the show premieres.

A WandaVision spinoff starring Kathryn Hahn is in the works at Marvel and Disney+!
The series would reprise Kathryn‘s fan favorite role as Agatha Harkness, Variety reports. The site also added that Marvel is mum on the project right now and no plot details are known at this time. At the end of WandaVision, “Wanda traps Agatha in Westview by using her powers to force her revert to her Agnes persona.”

Emmy nominated actress Kathryn Hahn is going to portray the late Joan Rivers in the upcoming Showtime limited series The Comeback Girl!
The show will take place after the cancellation of The Late Show Starring Joan Rivers, which coincided with the death of her husband, Edgar Rosenberg, by suicide.
The logline of the show, via Variety, is as follows: “Trailblazer. Adored. Cruel. Diva. Joan Rivers had a life like no other. At age 54, she was a superstar comedienne…and then it all fell apart. THE COMEBACK GIRL is the awe-inspiring untold story of how Joan Rivers persevered through near suicide and professional abyss to rebuild herself and her career to become a global icon.” Kathryn will also executive produce.
Joan died at the age of 81 on September 4, 2014 after a routine endoscopy. Her cause of death was revealed a few weeks later.
Kathryn Hahn has arrived and she’s making her big entrance at the 2021 Emmy Awards on Sunday (September 19) at The Event Deck at L.A. Live in Los Angeles.
The 48-year-old actress is a nominee this evening! She’s being recognized in the Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Limited or Anthology Series or Movie category for her work in Disney+ and Marvel’s WandaVision! She portrayed Agatha Harkness / Agnes The Nosy Neighbor and was truly a fan favorite on the show. Fans were also obsessed with her amazing song.
The Emmys ceremony this year is being hosted by Cedric the Entertainer and the show will be broadcast on CBS and the Paramount+ streaming service. The Creative Arts Emmys were handed out last weekend and the full winners list has already been announced for those awards!

Kathryn Hahn wears a cute sheer, polka dot top as she arrives at the Television Academy’s Reception to Honor 73rd Emmy Award Nominees held at Television Academy on Friday night (September 17) in Los Angeles.
The WandaVision actress was joined by The Mandalorian‘s Giancarlo Esposito, Black Widow‘s O-T Fagbenle, Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings‘ Dallas Liu, as well as Pose actress MJ Rodriguez.
Giancarlo brought his daughters, Shayne Lyra, Ruby and Kale Lyn as his dates for the event.
Kathryn is up for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Limited or Anthology Series or Movie at the 2021 Emmy Awards, and MJ made history for her Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series nomination.
Meanwhile, Giancarlo and O-T are both up for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series.

Christina Hendricks and Retta had a mini Good Girls reunion over the weekend!
The co-stars were two of the many stars who stepped out for producer Jennifer Klein‘s annual Day of Indulgence party on Sunday (August 15) in Brentwood, Calif.
Christina and Retta were seen catching up over Don Julio lemonades and Palomas. While their other co-star Mae Whitman wasn’t there, her best friend Jane Levy was in attendance and there are photos of her chatting it up with Retta.
