Stan Lee poses with the cast of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. while at the IMDb Yacht during 2016 Comic-Con on Friday (July 22) in San Diego, Calif.
Later that day, the cast, including Clark Gregg, Chloe Bennet, Ming-Na Wen, Elizabeth Henstridge, Henry Simmons, Iain De Caestecker and Jed Whedon, took part in a panel to discuss their upcoming season.
Although the cast didn’t have any fourth season footage to share since they just started filming, they did make one major announcement.
A teaser revealed that Ghost Rider would be joining the cast, played by Robbie Reyes.
“Season 4 will unquestionably be the series’ biggest, most ambitious story yet, and it all begins with the introduction of one of our greatest legacy characters in Ghost Rider. When the Spirit of Vengeance rides into S.H.I.E.L.D., it’ll change everything,” executive producer Jeph Loeb explained.
