Prince George turns one today (July 22), and his parents Prince William and Kate Middleton threw him a big birthday party at Kensington Palace in London, England.

In attendance were Queen Elizabeth, Pippa and James Middleton, grandmother Carole Middleton (pictured below), Zara Phillips with husband Mike Tindall with their daughter Mia (pictured below), good friend of the family Emilia D’Erlanger (pictured below), and Princess Michael of Kent (pictured below). Outside, tons of fans of the young Prince celebrated at the gates of the palace.

Rumored to be served at the party were “Jam Pennies” – jelly-filed sandwiches cut resemble penny pieces, and egg sandwiches, People reports.

Zara Phillips, cousin to Prince William and Prince Harry, and granddaughter to Queen Elizabeth, has welcomed a baby daughter with her husband Mike Tindall, the Royal Monarchy Twitter account confirms.

“It’s a girl! Zara and Mike Tindall‘s first child was born at Gloucestershire Royal Hospital today weighing 7lbs 12oz #royalbaby” the Twitter read. “Today’s #royalbaby is The Princess Royal’s 3rd grandchild; The Queen’s 4th great-grandchild, and is 16th in line to the throne”

“The baby’s name will be confirmed in due course,” a statement to the press added. The baby will be 16th in line for the throne.

Zara Phillips is pregnant with her first child with husband Mike Tindall!

The 32-year-old cousin of Princes William and Harry is the daughter of Princess Anne and she is fifteenth in the royal line of succession. She does not hold a royal or noble title as she is the granddaughter of a monarch in the female line and her father (Captain Mark Philipps) does not hold a royal title.

“Mr and Mrs Mike Tindall are very pleased to announce that Zara Tindall is expecting a baby in the new year,” Buckingham Palace said in a statement (via BBC). “The Princess Royal and Captain Mark Phillips, Mr Phillip and Mrs Linda Tindall, and members of both families are delighted with the news. This baby will be the first child for Mike and Zara and the third grandchild for the Princess Royal.”
