Ronda Rousey is the new WWE Raw Women’s champion!

The 31-year-old entertainer scored a submission win over Alexa Bliss on Sunday night (August 19) during 2018 SummerSlam at Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York.

Ronda is now the first woman in history to hold titles in both UFC and WWE.

“This isn’t me winning a match in one night, this is a torch that has been passed women to women and this is just my time to carry,” Ronda expressed about her win. “All I can do is represent this title as best as I can and to carry that torch as far as well as I can. I will happily pass it along to the next one.”

Mark Wahlberg, Lauren Cohan, and Ronda Rousey team up to premiere their new movie Mile 22 at Westwood Village Theatre on Thursday (August 9) in Westwood, Calif.

They were joined by their castmates Sam Medina, Peter Berg, CL, Iko Uwais, Carlo Alban, and Nikolai Nikolaeff.

Ski racer Lindsey Vonn and her boyfriend, Nashville Predators NHL star P.K. Subban, also stepped out to show their support.

Guests enjoyed Casamigos cocktails at the after-party.

Ronda Rousey opened up about her lifelong love of Star Wars while making her appearance on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert on Tuesday (July 31) in New York City.

The 31-year-old entertainer shared a story of trying to sneak into a theater to watch The Force Awakens dressed as a Stormtrooper until the theater stopped her due to some security concerns.

Ronda went on to talk about her love for the films, dropping the release year for the “Special Edition” theatrical release and even talking about her her dad hooked her up with the original versions from his VHS tapes.

“I cried my eyes out and had nightmares when I found out Luke Skywalker’s dad was Darth Vader and cut his hand off,” Ronda said. “I felt really bad about his hand getting cut off. It was a big deal to me.”

Ronda also went on to talk about swimming with sharks and why she didn’t shave her head for her upcoming film Mile 22, which hits theaters on Friday, Aug. 17 – Watch the interview below!

The 47-year-old actor kept things in blue sweater and jeans as he was joined at the even by his co-star Ronda Rousey, Iko Uwais, Carlo Alban, and Lauren Cohan.

In the movie, Mark stars as James Silva, an operative of the CIA’s most highly-prized and least-understood unit. Aided by a top-secret tactical command team, Silva must retrieve and transport an asset who holds life-threatening information to Mile 22 for extraction before the enemy closes in.

Ronda Rousey was all smiles while hitting the orange carpet at the 2018 Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Sports Awards!

The 31-year-old wrestler was joined by her husband Travis Browne at the event on Thursday (July 19) at Barker Hangar in Santa Monica, Calif.

The were also accompanied by Travis‘ children Keawe and Kaleo.

Other athletes at the award ceremony included Lindsey Vonn, her boyfriend P. K. Subban and Chloe Kim.

Other attendees included Shaun White, his dog Leroy, Liza Koshy and Michael Strahan, who brought his daughters Isabella and Sophia.

During the ceremony, Shaun and Chloe took the stage with Olympians Alex and Maia Shibutani for a fun game!

The show was pre-taped and will air on Nickelodeon on Friday night at 8 PM.

FYI: Lindsey is wearing a Jovani jumpsuit. Shaun is wearing an Etro bomber and jeans. Chloe is wearing Pedro García heels.
