Steve Harvey is defending his wife Marjorie Harvey after she used the R-word, a term that is considered offensive.

In a video, Marjorie, 53, and Steve, 61, were cooking when she said, “I’m sitting here arguing with my husband, ’cause clearly he thinks I’m r—–ed [and] I don’t know how to cut a beet.”

The video sparked a ton of backlash, and Steve soon took to the comments to make his thoughts known.

Steve wrote, “What you trippin bout cause my wife said the word r—–ed…it’s a word ain’t it?” he commented on the post. “And she ain’t talking bout nobody but herself to me … What she was doing was just that and she ain’t saying it bout nobodies baby… I don’t ever comment but [damn] is you just looking for something to be pissed off about cause we ain’t… and I wrote it r—–ed. NAH!!”

Marjorie also responded to Steve’s comment, and you can see her response in the gallery.

Yep, that actually happened – Maria Menounos got married live on television on New Year’s Eve in the middle of New York City’s Times Square!

The 39-year-old television personality tied the knot with her partner of 20 years, Keven Undergaro, on Sunday night (December 31) just before the stroke of midnight.

Steve Harvey officiated the wedding during Fox’s special and Maria surprised her parents with the news of the nuptials that night.

Maria is wearing a Pronovias wedding gown.

“I really truly believe that it’s taken us this long [to get married] because of the pressures of putting a wedding together,” Maria told People. “I’ve always wanted it to be super intimate and even though this is the opposite, we can only invite our immediate family, so the pressure of who to invite is gone. This was just so perfect.”

New Year’s Eve with Steve Harvey will be airing live from Times Square in New York City in just a few hours and it’s going to be a great show.

There are lots of performers joining Steve in chilly Times Square to celebrate and watch the ball drop. Maria Menounos is set to co-host the festivities.

In addition to performances from some great celebs, there will of course be amateur performances and if the audience doesn’t like them, expect them to be vocal about their thoughts!

Steve Harvey started off the 2017 Miss Universe pageant by addressing his big mistake from the last time he hosted.

The 60-year-old host of the show joined the competitors on stage at Planet Hollywood in Las Vegas and mentioned the moment from when he announced the wrong winner at 2015 Miss Universe.

“Well, my first year we started right here in Las Vegas,” he said. “We all know how that went. We don’t need to go back into that.”

Steve Harvey is addressing the scandal surrounding the leaked email he sent to his staff back in May.

The 60-year-old talk show host attended the NBCUniversal portion of the 2017 TCA Summer Press Tour to promote his new daytime talk show Steve on Thursday (August 3) at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills, Calif.

During the discussion, Steve joked about the leaked emails he sent to his staff back in May where he wrote that he did not want to be “ambushed” by his staff talking to him anymore.

“I learned two things from that email. One, I can’t write. And two, I should never write,” Steve said during the panel. “It wasn’t that big of a deal for me until I saw it on CNN. I’m a congenial guy.”

Steve went on to explain that the one of his former Chicago staffers leaked the email after he was not offered a job when Steve moved his new show to Los Angeles.

Eva Longoria got one of the highest scores during “Fast Money” on Family Feud that we’ve ever seen!

The actress appeared on the latest episode of Celebrity Family Feud and she got 193 out of the 200 points needed to win the final round. Her partner Amaury Nolasco, who went second, only needed to get seven points for the team to win $25,000 for charity and it of course happened.

“If you don’t get seven points, you’re going to go down in history as one of the worst Family Feud players of all time,” host Steve Harvey joked before Amaury had to give his answers.

Also on Eva‘s team were Ana Ortiz, Justina Machado, and Wilmer Valderrama.
