Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt is reportedly coming to an end after its fourth season!

The streaming service and producers of the hit series are in talks for a movie that would bring the series to an end, according to Deadline.

The movie would be penned by co-creators Tina Fey and Robert Carlock after wrapping the show’s fourth season, which is still in production.

Season 4 will launch first as a six episode package on May 30, with seven more episodes premiering at a later date. Netflix also unveiled a first look at the new season, along with a promo.

Netflix just announced that the first half of Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt‘s fourth season will debut on May 30!

While the first six episode of the season will debut at the end of May, the second half of the season won’t debut until later in 2018. This is a departure from previous seasons, which had always been released all at once.

The show will see the return of fan-favorite characters Kimmy Schmidt (Ellie Kemper), as well as Titus Andromedon (Tituss Burgess), Jacqueline White (Jane Krakowski), and Lillian Kaushtupper (Carol Kane).

Ellie Kemper, Jane Krakowski, Tituss Burgess, Carol Kane and executive producers Robert Carlock and Sam Means all got together at Netflix’s For Your Consideration event for Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt held at the UCB Sunset Theater on Thursday (June 15) in Los Angeles.

Ellie and the cast dished about working on the third season, which debuted last month, and talked about the possibilities for season four.

The evening before, Tituss made an appearance on The Late Late Show with James Corden and recalled the peculiar sensation he experienced while recording a song called “Boobs In California” for the series – Watch below!

Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt has been renewed for a fourth season at Netflix, Variety reports!

The hit show stars Ellie Kemper, Tituss Burgess, Jane Krakowski and Carol Kane, and the third season debuted last month. Over the course of the first two seasons, the show received 11 Emmy Awards nominations and it has been lauded by many critics!

No debut date has been revealed for the fourth season, but expect sometime in the spring/summer of 2018.

The Emmy-nominated actor is seen wearing an imitation of the iconic yellow dress that Bey wore in the “Hold Up” video and he even smashes a baseball bat into a car window like in the video.

Season three of the series, which stars Ellie Kemper as the title character, will premiere on the streaming service on May 19.
