Hugh Jackman Gives 1.4 Billion Reasons to Fight Poverty
Hugh Jackman and wife Deborra-Lee Furness attend the Children of the City Benefit Gala at Pier Sixty in New York City on Thursday (September 30).
The couple came out to support the grassroots organization, which provides programs and services for at-risk children and families.
Hugh, 41, also fulfilled his humanitarian duties the day before.
The Aussie actor was the guest speaker at Global Poverty Project‘s “1.4 Billion Reasons” event at New York University.
Hugh helped raise awareness about the 1.4 billion people in the world who live in poverty – many on less than $1.25 a day.
