Elton John On Naming His New Son: This Is It!

Elton John welcomed a new son with husband David Furnish on Christmas day via a surrogate and proudly named him Zachary Jackson Levon Furnish-John.

The 63-year-old English singer recently shared how they decided on the name of Zachary for their new bundle of joy.

“We have fulfilled a dream in finally becoming parents, and are so happy and excited at this very special time. Zachary is a gorgeous little baby and we are so proud of him,” Elton shared with US Weekly. “A friend gave us a book of baby names, and we started to flick through it, but we have always loved the name Zachary and kept coming back to it. In the end, we looked at each other, and put the book back on shelf, and said, “This is it!’”
