David Arquette Checks Into Rehab

David Arquette has voluntarily checked himself into a rehab facility over the holiday weekend, a source close to the situation confirms to JustJared.com.

The 39-year-old actor is seeking treatment for alcohol and other issues. He is not seeking treatment for drugs.

David spent New Year’s Eve partying at his nightclub Beacher’s Madhouse before checking himself into the facility.

He believes that this is “the right thing to do for his family,” according to TMZ.

Last October, David split from his wife Courteney Cox after 11 years of marriage.

UPDATE: Courteney tells People, “I really admire David and his choice to take charge and better his life. I love and support him.”
