Jake Gyllenhaal walks on stage with nominee Amy Adams to present an award at the 2011 Oscars held at the Kodak Theater on Sunday (February 27) in Los Angeles.
Jake and Amy presented the awards for Best Documentary Short Subject and Best Live Action Short Film.
Before his appearance on stage, the 30-year-old actor met up with his Brokeback Mountain costar Michelle Williams in the audience.
Amy was nominated for Best Supporting Actress for her work in The Fighter, but lost out to her costar Melissa Leo.
FYI: Jake wore a black made-to-measure Salvatore Ferragamo tuxedo, with double breasted jacket and gros grain details, paired with a pair of black leather Tramezza lace-up shoes.

amy has such a beautiful face and character. this look however with the tee shirt sleeves, necklace over fabric, dark eyes and red lips, fails to set her apart in the way she deserves.

I’m surprised by Michelle’s choice here. the cut of the dress is very bland, the tee shirt sleeves, again, are almost painfully bland. and i would think she would be cautious to be photographed in such a sheer dress. i don’t see how she could feel confident in this.

Jake most definitely knows how to rock a tux for sure. Wish he would put more effort into his acting instead of putting so much effort in finding bad fake girlfriends and doing photo ops for tabloid magazines.

I was thinking that instead of James Franco, Jake should have been a co host. He and Anne have great chemistry and he would have been able to keep up with Anne’s sense of humor and really added spice to the Oscars
