The trailer or a condensed version of the damn movie…

I like her movie choices – Hanna and Lovely Bones… very noteworthy projects… it looks like she’s going to kick ass in this one too.

  • Nancy

Poor Diane, she’s acting but this isn’t a ‘Rust and Bone’ type of movie. Oh, but she will be moving to the small screen, a position she has previously scoffed at. I suppose at her age she can’t be to picky, at least she isn’t playing the mother role yet. At the ripe old age of 36, airbrushing and accepting any role may be her only choices. Her acting skills won’t be opening many doors.

  • Chanel

This actually looks alright; guess the Meyer name gave it a larger budget (without the special effects it’d look like a TV movie).
    - Saoirse Ronan is an excellent actor. her accent is 30000000X better than oldies like Nicole Kidman who still slips on the US accent.
    - Diane Kruger was made for this role, since it requires her to act like a robotic person with no feelings.
    - WTF happened to Max Irons? He was a little kid just before; now he looks like an amazing hottie! It’s the Irons genes kicking in!
    - Stephenie Meyer is probably the most unoriginal writer in the history of multimillionaire writers. However, you gotta hand it to her for coming up with stuff that consistently sells.

I can’t see this movie having the appeal of Twilight, it doesn’t have Robert, Kristen or Taylor. I’m all for striking when the iron is hot, but damn she really is trying to ride the wave of success. I haven’t even heard of the actors in this movie or heard of the book. Meanwhile I have all of the Twilight books and movies, love them.

  • Sarah

Do they really think that promoting Diane as one of the main stars in this movie is going to help? She has to be one of the worst actors out there, unfortunately I have seen most of her movies; absolutely horrid. But then again her character is supposed to be alien (cold, lifeless and robotic), just like her acting.

  • Lucy

Jessica Chastain in a short time doing films, she won more notoriety and success besides being nominated for major film awards than diane in ten years making movies

is what I say, if Diana had some talent she would have shown this a long time

  • Axle

This movie doesn’t look very original, I’m sure it will be a success.

  • grimm

she’s doing roles that shows no emotion, perhaps is due to the botox, without emotion and without facial expression

  • Breanna

Oh sweet lord, how long until Freddy Kruger’s troll starts making her comments with tons of links centered around Diane? I wish the troll would understand, her posting only make me strongly dislike Diane. Diane’s acting skills had already left a bad taste in my mouth, but having her shoved down my throat makes me want to throw up.

  • Patty

Marion Cotillard and Guillaume Canet are a true loving couple with a beautiful child. Yet they still manage to maintain wealthy and healthy careers. I can’t see that happening between Freddy Kruger and Joshua Jackson.

  • Lucy

Marion Cotillard is an award-winning actress respected by the film industry she is much more famous than Diane, but even so she keeps her personal life away from the spotlight, unlike diane that does anything to appear

Yet, you’re here, exposing yourself to someone you claim to hate. You know you can ignore these articles, right? But either way, your obsession has been noted.

  • Breanna

Oh, trust me my feelings are nothing but negative toward this woman. I know I can ignore these articles, but people have the right to spout their adoration toward this woman so I have the right to express my dislke for her. My obsession is noted as well as yours.

  • flora

Yes, but I like her. So seeking out articles about her makes sense for me. I’ll never understand why people expose themselves to people they don’t like. Life is too short for that. I don’t like the Kardashians and I read exactly zero articles about them because it’d be a waste of my time. And I’m happier for it. Maybe try that? You’d be way less angry.

  • Breanna

Good for you, you like her but I don’t. Being familiar with your posts, I am aware of your dislike for the Kardashians. Which would lead me to hypothesize that you do read articles about them, but I will admit I may be wrong on this matter. Thanks for letting me know life is too short to express my opinions on matters I find entertaining. I live a blessed life that I am more than happy with, I do not consider myself angry. I just think that Diane is a woman who is self centered, arrogant and shallow; I just enjoy watching her making an idiot of herself. She’s like watching a real life spoof of a self-important nobody happening in real time, I find it extremely entertaining.

  • flora

If you love spending your time reading about celebrities you hate, more power to you. I never said life was too short to spend time on stuff you find entertaining. I said it was too short to spend time exposing yourself to people you don’t like. Those are two entirely different things. And in your 1st post you said you said that having Diane “shoved down” your throat made you want to vomit. That doesn’t sound to me like you’re being “extremely entertained,” but hey, maybe nausea and vomiting is balls of fun for you. I’m not bulimic, so I can’t relate. And just so we’re clear, she’s not being shoved down your throat. You’re voluntarily seeking her out.

Ms. Kruger will no longer at any red carpet event, as BAFTAS , SAG AWARDS, Golden Globes, Critics’ Choice, not even as C list of these events because she has never been indicated to any of these important award.

  • flora

@PT: Well, except for when she was nominated for a SAG, but I guess we’re supposed to forget that that happened in hater town.

  • bar

Kim Kardashians is a famewhore , she isn’t be looking for something else besides being a celebrity, diane does the same things that Kardashians. but she wants to give the impression of be a serious actress, Diane is more like Kate Bosworth both have the same profile, are mediocre actresses are more known in gossip sites and fashion events than for his films

this is an article that shows how a mediocre celebrity can keep the fame

  • PT

@flora: That’ was the cast, don’t she alone

  • flora

@PT: Wrong, she was nominated on her own for Best Supporting Actress. Maybe try Googling every once in a while.

  • ginger

Love Diane! What a wonderful actress!

  • flora

@bar: Comparing Diane to the Kardashians is hilarious. Whether you like her or not, Diane is a steadily working actress who makes films every single year and that fact is irrefutable. Nice try, though.

  • layla

Wow, Diane Kruger is so badass as the seeker.

  • damian

Diane Kruger, new celeb crush! Wunderbar!!

  • Lucy

is like a reality show, pathetic, if these celebrities who exposes himself if they could ever see when they are pathetic, Diane is one of the most pathetic celebrities I know, someone should do a comedy film about their adventures in Cannes.

the story she told the people, as she tore the dress for go pee, it was very funny, it’s shows how she is dumb

  • ottis

I admire Diane Kruger, she is so talented, not only can she speak 3 languages, but she can play in all kinds of different movies; drama, comedy, action,….. She can do it all and that’s why i’m a big fan.

Claire Danes talked to Diane Kruger and convinced her to do the Bridge.

The Women Who Run TV: ‘Homeland’ writer Meredith Stiehm on Claire Danes, new FX pilot.

Homeland could be losing the talented writer. Stiehm has a much-buzzed-about pilot with FX called The Bridge about a dead body found on a bridge between Texas and Mexico (it’s a remake of a Scandinavian series of the same name).
If the pilot, starring Diane Kruger (Inglorious Basterds) and Demian Bichir (A Better Life), goes to series, it’s likely that Stiehm will also leave the Showtime series. “It’s a high class problem,” admits the writer. “It’s so hard to get your own series. But, at the same time, what kind of idiot leaves Homeland right now?”
Claire Danes admits that she’s not looking forward to potentially saying goodbye. Says the Emmy-winning actress, ”I’m worried because I adore her and I think her talent is rare. She’s been crucial in defining who this person is. I’m sure there are other brilliant women out there who could contribute wonderful things but I just like her!
She asked me to talk to Diane Kruger about my experience working in television and hopefully encourage her to accept the role. And I talked to her for about an hour and was really selling her on it.
I thought, ‘Wait a minute—what did I just do?’ I love Meredith and I support her totally but of course I don’t want her to go anywhere.”

‘The Bridge’: FX greenlights new series from ‘Homeland’ writer

FX has given the greenlight to The Bridge, a thriller starring Diane Kruger (Inglorious Basterds) and Demian Bichir (A Better Life) and from Meredith Stiehm, a Homeland writer known for penning some of the series’ most acclaimed episodes. Based on the Scandinavian series Bron, The Bridge is about a body found on the border of Texas and Mexico and the investigation that ensues. The 13-episode first season will go into production in April for a July premiere on FX.

An American version of Scandinavian crime drama The Bridge has been picked up by FX, with Diane Kruger playing a reimagined version of lead character Saga Norén.

  • bar

@flora: hilarious she, do the same things that makes Kardashians for is in media and still wanting to be taken seriously, at least Kardashians is more successful than Diane, she is richer and more famous and popular

in fact FX, not is giving much importance to this show, summer season is the worst period for the premiere of a show, where nobody is watches tv, if they were giving have importance to the show, they had made the season premiere in the fall season, where is the best shows on FX American horror story, Justified, Americans, show,of the Amazing and beautiful talented actress Keri Russell.

  • Alex

I just saw January Jones in her fedora, at least the woman is honest about losing her hair. Diane thinks she’s fooling everyone by wearing her hats, we all know she’s losing her hair. I think she is more famous for her receding hairline than her acting.
