It’s unfortunate that Harvey Weinstein has taken over this award show, as well. Silver Linings Playbook should be deemed an independent film. Beasts of the Southern Wild was snubbed.

  • NotAGirl

Sorry, I meant Silver Linings Playbook should not be deemed an independent film.

  • Nicole

Magic Mike wasn’t even a Independent film. Why not give him the award for The Paperboy which he was fantastic in?

  • Tif

Im fed up with all these stupid awards… The Oscars, NOW.

  • Yohji

Oh god, what is wrong with them?! Why are they awarding films that are not even independent? Beasts of the Southern, Sound of My Voice, Keep the Lights On, Bernie, Moonrise Kingdom, The Sessions all snubbed in favour of that film Harvey Weinstein took under his wing and who BOUGHT and PAID for these wins. He’s sucking the life out of award shows and is making them less fun. I sincerely hope Jennifer Lawrence doesn’t win over Emmanuelle Riva or Jessica Chastain tomorrow.

  • Oscar

    Mediocre at best.

  • Hot Mess

Dumbest awards show ever. If THIS guy can win an award for taking off his pants, I think we all know how “credible” these awards actually are. Sorry, the Spirit Awards make the Golden Globes seem important. FAIL AWARDS SHOW!

  • Studio 54

The Oscars are just as fugged up as the rest of the awards. Nothing more than ego stroking ego’s…..

  • Diliana von Bork

I like that movie “Once Upon a Time in Anatolia”.
I like Michael Haneke, but ““Once Upon a Time in Anatolia” is better than “Amour”.
    Weinstein is a disgusting man.

  • Isabella

I’m just disappointed that the indie film Broken Roads wasn’t even nominated. I think it had some great performances in it.

How is it that Matthew loses a ton of weight, yet his hair gets thicker??? Simple… hair transplant:
