'Bad Grandpa' Beats 'Gravity' at Weekend Box Office

Johnny Knoxville‘s latest Jackass film Bad Grandpa has won this weekend’s box office with $32 million, according to THR!

Coming in at No. 2 was Gravity, starring George Clooney and Sandra Bullock, which earned an additional $20.3 million, pushing it past the $200 million mark domestically.

Taking third place was Tom Hanks‘ Captain Phillips, brought in $11.8 million, bringing its domestic total to $70.1 million.

Rounding out the top five were The Counselor, starring Michael Fassbender, Penelope Cruz, Cameron Diaz, Javier Bardem, and Brad Pitt, and Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs 2, earning $8 million and $6.1 million, respectively.
