Avril Lavigne: I Don't Want Kids Now, I Still Need to Have Fun!

The 29-year-old entertainer recently chatted with E! News about the possibility of having children with husband Chad Kroeger!

“I want one or two [kids], but not right now,” Avril said. “Like, in the future. Eventually. I still need to just have fun! I’ve got a record, a tour. I’m not ready right now. I want to just focus on my music, but down the road, eventually [we'll have children].”

It was also just announced that Avril‘s ex-husband Deryck Whibley just filed with the courts to remove Avril‘s last name from his legal name. After their wedding back in 2006, Derek changed his name to Deryck Jason Lavigne Whibley.
