Ouch, that’s smarts! Never a good idea to lend money to family members. It’s best to just give it to them as a gift or not at all. Sorry Shia had to go through this, but you live and learn.

I don’t know. I don’t think I could ever sue a family member. Shia`s worth millions of dollars, it seems a tad harsh on his part. But then again he earned his money back when he was sane lol but from what I had heard him say before in an interview was that he had started acting to help out his family and now this? Just a little confusing.

Pls don’t take anybody’s kindness for weakness…
If you said you’ll pay back, at least try paying some.
If Shia was kind enough to lend, im sure he’s kind enough to
understand if uncle couldn’t pay it all… But not a dime paid???
That’s abuse…..you don’t take, it’s given…….
Team Shia…….

If his uncle did not have the money to pay him before, then how’s he going to pay him back now?

# 5

Barry Saide? Isn’t Shias middle name Saide?

# 6

Why does he insist on dressing like a homeless man?!

@Juliana: Give him a break. His mom or parents or someone were like hippies. I think he is a simple person, not into flash or glitz. There is nothing wrong with that. It is not good to sue a relative, but if you are dealing with a relative who is not so nice and who is also a crook, it’s a different story. We don’t know Shia’s relationship with this uncle. What if they were never that close in the first place, and Shia offering a loan was considered quite generous? Either way, it was Shia’s money and they had an agreement, so the uncle pays.

@anon:

Yes, but that doesn’t explain the corduroys tucked into his socks. ;-) But at least he’s not wearing boxers with his pants down below his buttcheeks . . .
