North Korea Is Not Happy With James Franco & Seth Rogen's 'The Interview'

James Franco and Seth Rogen‘s film The Interview has sparked outrage with North Korea.

“There is a special irony in this storyline as it shows the desperation of the US government and American society,” Kim Myong-chol, executive director of the Centre for North Korea-U.S. Peace the Telegraph and unofficial spokesman shared to the Telegraph. “A film about the assassination of a foreign leader mirrors what the US has done in Afghanistan, Iraq, Syria and Ukraine. And let us not forget who killed [President John F.] Kennedy – Americans.

He added, “In fact, President [Barack] Obama should be careful in case the US military wants to kill him as well.”

In case you didn’t know, the new trailer for The Interview centers on “stars of a celebrity tabloid show who are headed to their biggest interview yet, with the leader of North Korea, Kim Jong-Un, whom they plan to assassinate.”

james franco looks soooo old. ugh.

  • PrettyDew

Voila!!! And this right here is why kids thinks it’s more than ok to just shoot and kill someone they don’t get along with….

  • Mel

    and Nicholas Brody…don’t forget him

  • allison

Well let’s think about this. Would the US gov’t be happy with a movie about wanting to assassinate a US president? I think not.
Can’t believe an untalented arrogant weird actor like Franco and a one note garbage comedy actor like Seth has force me to agree with North Korea.

  • jenna

@Mel of course! But the vice president was a douchebag, so let’s just let this one slide. :P

  • Esther

Who gives a damn what North Korea thinks. They’ve isolated themselves from the world. We can say or make a film about them if we want to and if they don’t like it then they should re enter society then maybe we’ll take them seriously.

  • Whet?

@Esther: Your comment doesn’t make a lick of sense.

  • James

seth rogen is boring and can’t play anything else than himself. James franco is a jerk wannabe artist. period.

  • Ruby

Seth is such a talentless actor that I wonder how he has even made it in this business. Every single movie I have had to endure is full of sexist, racist and druggie jokes that only a mans ”inner child” seems to appreciate. Thank you South Korea for just coming out and saying it how it is!

  • FC

    N. Korea is right, for once.

  • Scott

Seth is an idiot with no more braincells because of his pot smoking.
the guy has no originality whatsoever; And his acting, gosh, dude, please, learn how to be an actor, improve yourself, play something different for once. Cab’t stand hearing his phony laugh every 2 seconds to show how uncomfortable he is.
And James Franco, don’t get me started. That guy is just a user, who pretends to be a poor “artist” with no money making so called “humble” boring films.
They are two losers! get us some real talent out there, please.

  • Hollywood

    Man, that movie looks boring!
You guys, you’re 5 minutes of fame are over!

  • amanda

@allison…you are aware there are plenty of movies about assassinating the US President right? There are many……

Also, this is a comedy people. You all need to get your heads examined

  • Garry

no matter what the subject of this movie is: the trailer succcks.
looks like they stole some ideas from “the king of comedy”.
P.S. seth rogen and james franco are terrible actors who don’t have a brain.

  • Phil

@amanda: if seth had talent, they would see it as a comedy. but seth is just some talentless freak.

  • ab123

@amanda that was my thought exactly. There are myriad American movies about Americans assassinating an American President i.e. Vantage Point, The Manchurian Candidate, JFK, The Shooter, In the Line of Fire, etc. Not to mention Sergeant Brody in Homeland!! What I find kind of funny, other than the idiots agreeing with North Korean politicians, is that North Korea keeps tabs on American comedies. I just imagine them sitting around in their soviet-era military garb watching pirated Seth Rogan flicks LOL.

  • Sheena

I don’t quite understand why but it seems that Jewish actors seem to get way more roles than non-jews.
