Rosie O'Donnell Officially Returning to 'The View' Next Season

It’s official – Rosie O’Donnell is returning to The View as a co-host this upcoming season.

“It’s official! ABC confirms Rosie O’Donnell returns as co-host of #TheView w/ moderator Whoopi Goldberg for Season 18″ the show’s Twitter account wrote earlier today (July 10).

There has been a fair amount of controversy surrounding Rosie‘s return. Former co-host Elisabeth Hasselbeck had lots to say during a rant about Rosie. The two infamously did not get along.

The 18th season will return this Fall.
