Melissa Benoist Is All Suited Up as Supergirl In These First Look Photos!

Melissa Benoist is all suited up as Supergirl in these brand new first look images from the upcoming CBS pilot!

The 26-year-old actress stars as the title character Kara Danvers/Kara Zor-El/Supergirl in the pilot, which is set to begin production this week.

Oscar winning costume designer Colleen Atwood designed the Supergirl outfit. “In designing Supergirl, I wanted to embrace the past, but more importantly, thrust her into the street-style action hero of today,” Colleen said.
