'Wonder Woman' Director Michelle MacLaren Exits DC Film Due to 'Creative Differences'

Director Michelle MacLaren has exited the upcoming Warner Bros. and DC Entertainment film Wonder Woman, Variety reports.

“Given creative differences, Warner Bros. and Michelle MacLaren have decided not to move forward with plans to develop and direct ‘Wonder Woman’ together,” a statement from the studio read.

Gal Gadot is still attached to star in the film – she also will appear in other DC films as the leading lady character.

Wonder Woman is set for a June 23, 2017, but this sudden exit may or may not alter the course of the film.
