Patrick Dempsey Tweets About His 'Grey's Anatomy' Exit

Patrick Dempsey‘s exit from Grey’s Anatomy still has many longtime fans of the show completely distraught and now the actor is breaking his silence about it on Twitter.

“I want to thank all the fans, what an incredible 11 yrs, I love you all,” the 49-year-old actor tweeted in his simple note.

Patrick gave an in depth interview about his character Derek’s death on the show and unfortunately it leaked just hours before the episode aired, spoiling the surprise for many people.
