Jessica Alba is all smiles while attending her press conference for E-commerce company Coupang with Honest co-founder Christopher Gavigan at the Grand Intercontinental Hotel on Thursday (May 28) in Seoul, South Korea.

Jessica looks amazing as she graces the cover of ForbesAmerica’s Richest Self-Made Women issue, out on newsstands on June 15.

Self made? What a joke. Apparently her products were laced with toxins as they are sourced in China. Nobody in Hollywood will hire her.

  • plez

The media loves promoting actresses (like Alba and Jessica Simpson who sell their name and likeness to promote products) as billionaire business people.

    Amazing accomplishment.

  • iheartkatyperry

    I puked.

  • MC

    omg she’s sooo self-made cute!!!

  • siennagold

    She’s a billionaire?

They think the public is stupid.

Exactly. Organic wellness sites bash her products all the time and end up recommending other true quality organic brands that stay true to their word with what’s used in their products and DON’T boast every fucking minute that they’re a billion dollar company. This is the first “organic” company that boasts about their bullshit revenue to the media nonstop that’s why I don’t believe their figures or her net worth at all, I feel like Forbes is giving huge advertisement space to Alba just cause she happens to be one of the “few attractive businesswomen” and it’s sickening. Plus how is she worth more than the other slap-my-name on a brand girl Jessica Simpson when Jessica Simpson’s brand has been in the market wayyyy longer than Alba’s company? And the funny thing is that a lot of customers have complained about canceling their subscriptions with The Honest Company because they are overpriced considering their lack of quality but when they call to request a cancellation, they STILL charge their credit cards and bring them packages and the company won’t cancel their subscription after the customer told them loud and clear over the phone and through their site that they don’t want their products anymore. Sorry Alba but you’re a fluke that’s plastered your pretty face and annoying smile on your products to attract rich customers that end up realizing you’re a joke.

ummm no! she is no billionaire, but her company’s revenue did achieve the billion dollar mark (i have noo idea how) cant believe the soccer mom’s buy into her shit honestly. But if her line keeps doing well, no doubt in 5-10 years she will most likely earn her own billion as CEO/owner/president…. wtvr she calls herself.

  • stoplyin2217

    Alba owns her company.

Simpson does not. She licenses her name and image to other companies.

  • stoplyin2217

She is self made. She didn’t grow up wealthy.

And her products are good. That’s why so many people buy them.

  • stoplyin2217

Alba is worth more than Simpson because Alba owns her company.

And her products are not only sold to rich people, but to everyone. They are in stores now, stores such as Target.

I have no doubt that Alba will one day be a billionaire. She is selling products that people need.

  • mandyz

She produces organic products of shit and questionable quality when other organic brands of much higher quality are selling for cheaper prices? Yep sorry but there’s wealthy people that are much smarter than you that haven’t fell for Alba’s The Liar Company. Please read the reviews on her products, they are a joke packaged in a nice design. And no Alba doesn’t 100% “own the company”, she invested a stake in it and is the brainchild of her business partner Chris Gavigan that decided to use Alba as the promotional face of the company so she’s a co-owner not owner. She doesn’t have knowledge in organic products. She did not major in environmental science or biology in college to know what true natural organic products are and did not major in business. She hopped on Chris’s idea because they shared a mutual interest in organic baby products, that’s literally it but I would never call Alba knowledgeable in the organic product industry at all and if you had a brain you wouldn’t either. Buy organic products from small businesses that have studied their craft for decades to produce high quality organic products, not her.

  • mandyz

It’s called good PR, her PR has been boasting this yet no other organic brands with integrity and principle do what her PR is doing to convince people to buy her products.

  • PlayNice

Good for her. She’s become a successful business woman and isn’t whoring herself out to the paps everyday like some celebrities. Kudos to her. Idk how much help she has gotten, but it takes smarts to form that type of company and actually make it work. I don’t get all the hate here. She’s doing something helpful to people and not showing her ass or calling paparazzi like other female celebs do!
