Leonardo DiCaprio's 'The Revenant' Gets First Teaser Trailer!

The first teaser trailer for Leonardo DiCaprio‘s upcoming movie The Revenant was just released!

The movie is inspired by true events and is directed and co-written by Alejandro G. Iñárritu, the Academy Award-winning director of Birdman. Also starring are Tom Hardy, Domhnall Gleeson, and Will Poulter.

Here is the synopsis: In an expedition of the uncharted American wilderness, legendary explorer Hugh Glass (DiCaprio) is brutally attacked by a bear and left for dead by members of his own hunting team. In a quest to survive, Glass endures unimaginable grief as well as the betrayal of his confidant John Fitzgerald (Hardy). Guided by sheer will and the love of his family, Glass must navigate a vicious winter in a relentless pursuit to live and find redemption.

The Revenant will hit theaters in limited release on December 25 and in wide release on January 8.
