Donald Trump Slams Pope Francis, Calls Him 'Disgraceful'

Donald Trump just slammed Pope Francis after he called him “not Christian” during an interview.

“For a religious leader to question a person’s faith is disgraceful. I am proud to be a Christian and as President I will not allow Christianity to be consistently attacked and weakened, unlike what is happening now, with our current President. No leader, especially a religious leader, should have the right to question another man’s religion or faith,” the 69-year-old Republican presidential candidate wrote on his website.

The Pope was asked about Donald’s views, and he responded, “A person who thinks only about building walls, wherever they may be, and not building bridges, is not Christian. This is not in the Gospel.”

If and when the Vatican is attacked by ISIS, which as everyone knows is ISIS’s ultimate trophy, I can promise you that the Pope would have only wished and prayed that Donald Trump would have been President because this would not have happened. ISIS would have been eradicated unlike what is happening now with our all talk, no action politicians.

The Mexican government and its leadership has made many disparaging remarks about me to the Pope, because they want to continue to rip off the United States, both on trade and at the border, and they understand I am totally wise to them. The Pope only heard one side of the story – he didn’t see the crime, the drug trafficking and the negative economic impact the current policies have on the United States. He doesn’t see how Mexican leadership is outsmarting President Obama and our leadership in every aspect of negotiation.

For a religious leader to question a person’s faith is disgraceful. I am proud to be a Christian and as President I will not allow Christianity to be consistently attacked and weakened, unlike what is happening now, with our current President. No leader, especially a religious leader, should have the right to question another man’s religion or faith. They are using the Pope as a pawn and they should be ashamed of themselves for doing so, especially when so many lives are involved and when illegal immigration is so rampant.

Shut up shut up SHUT UP. Holy Christ. And I’m getting real sick and tired at the right saying such disparaging remarks about Obama and his christianity.

Oh wait, I forgot, he’s an anti-American Muslim terrorist.

“No leader, especially a religious leader, should have the right to question another man’s religion or faith,”……..says the guy who wants to be a leader while constantly questioning all muslims…..

  • Elizabeth Jurado

Does he know that Christianity is also Catholicism.

  • Revengefan0101

Yeah, Donald Trump is such a good Christian, that’s why he honors his marriage vows. Oh wait!

  • Cruizin1960

Different sort of question in case you didn’t understand. The Pope said he did not believe that Trump was a Christian…that is doubting someone’s faith and it is wrong…from anyone, but especially from a church leader who should know better.

  • Cruizin1960

And you do know about casting stones, right?

  • Debbie

Catholicism is a denomination, and is, therefore, a subset of Christianity. All Catholics are Christians, but not all Christians are Catholics. A Christian refers to a follower of Jesus Christ who may be a Catholic, Protestant, Gnostic, Mormon, Evangelical, Anglican or Orthodox, or follower of another branch of the religion.

A Catholic refers to a Christian who follows the Catholic religion as transmitted through the succession of Popes of Rome and the Vatican Empire across history.

he never called the Pope as a person disgraceful, just said his comment was disgraceful.

..then he should’ve taken the high road…..if only he could find it.

    well, the Pope isn’t wrong…

  • VanityInsecurity

Can’t believe.. especially from a deeply religious man like the POPE who is not suppose to judge people (only god can do that) according to his religion. There isn’t a doubt here he is claiming that Trump is not Christian.. hypocrisy at its finest.

  • Juicy Lucy

That old fool can’t even find the exit to the high road.

  • jane

the pope is supposed to refrain from judgment and accept everyone, right? great role model…

  • Gina

Many things Donald says and does aren’t very Christian-like. The Pope was spot on.

  • Cruizin1960

Doesn’t matter – you do not comment on someone else’s faith or lack of it. That is between the person and his/her God. Of course, the Pope believes he is divine and gets to sit in judgement. No wonder there are people who view him as the anti-Christ.

  • Gina

Oh, please. Lets not get dramatic here. You can’t be a hate monger, a racist, and a bigot and call yourself a Christian. The Pope is a religious figure, so of course he’s gonna come from a religious standpoint.

  • Cruizin1960

And who are you to define his sins? Who are you to interpret what he has said? If he is a hate monger, racist, and bigot…then so are all of those involved in the Black Lives Matter.

  • Cruizin1960

They may not be Christian like…however you NEVER say that someone is not a Christian. No one is without sin…no one lives a flawless life.

  • Gina

Just because black lives matter, doesn’t mean white lives don’t. Why is it that as soon as white people aren’t the center of attention, they are quick to throw a fit?The Black Lives Matter movement was created after black people were continuously and wrongfully being gunned down like they were nothing. There is nothing racist about it. Why do white people have to make everything about them? It’s disgusting.

  • Gina

I don’t care. IMO, being Christian should be a verb not just something that someone labels themselves as. It’s a way of life.

  • Cruizin1960

So glad you have set yourself up as judge…but you know, that is something you are NOT supposed to do. Shame.

  • Gina

Judging someone whose platform is built on harshly and unfairly judging others, is NOT something I’m gonna lose sleep over.
