Beyonce Cancels Nashville 'Formation' Tour Date Without Explanation

Beyonce has suddenly postponed the Nashville Formation World Tour date, just one week before it was set to happen.

The 34-year-old superstar was scheduled to play at Nissan Stadium on May 5th but her reps say the concert will have to be rescheduled.

“Following Wednesday’s sold out opening night Formation World Tour concert in Miami, promoters Live Nation announced that the Nashville concert previously scheduled for Thursday, May 5 will be rescheduled. Details about the rescheduled date will be announced shortly and Nashville tickets holders are advised to retain their tickets which will be honored at the rescheduled event,” her reps told E! News.

The tour’s Twitter account later confirmed the change in scheduling had to do with construction at the stadium.

“The May 5th #FormationWorldTour date for Nashville at @NissanStadium has been postponed due to stadium construction. The new date is being worked out and will be announced as soon as possible. All tickets will be honored at the new date,” they wrote.
