Katy Perry Visits UNLV Dorms, Urges Students to Vote for Hillary Clinton
College students at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, were in for a treat when Katy Perry showed up at their dorms on Saturday (October 22)!
The 31-year-old singer – sporting bright red lipstick and a “Nasty Woman” t-shirt – peeked around doors as she tried to round up votes for Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton.
Katy also cheered as former Nevada Attorney General and democratic U.S. Senate candidate Catherine Cortez Masto spoke at an early vote rally while campaigning for Hillary.
Katy was spotted taking tons of selfies with excited students and engaging in personal conversations with them.
“We’re out here campaigning for Hillary Clinton. Ever heard of her?” she asked some young women inside their dorm room (via Associated Press). “Because there’s no other alternative. “We need our issues heard, we need our bodies taken care of, we need all that choice.”
Today marks the first day for early voting in Nevada ahead of the November 8 general election.
