Celebrities Support Students on National Walkout Day - Read the Tweets
Today marked National Walkout Day, a nationwide protest against gun violence where students left their classrooms for 17 minutes (one minute for everyone killed in the Parkland school shooting last month.)
If you don’t know, the day was planned for the one month anniversary of the tragic shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School on February 14.
Thousands took part in the protest, and more will gather in Washington, DC on March 24 for March For Our Lives.
All day, celebrities have been tweeting support for the students who are exercising their right to protest gun violence. Chris Evans, Zendaya, Kerry Washington, Miley Cyrus and more have offered support.
