Jeremy Renner Joins Jamie Foxx in the Cast of 'Spawn'

Jeremy Renner is officially joining the cast of Spawn!

The 47-year-old actor will star in film adaptation of the famous comic book alongside Jamie Foxx.

The movie will follow a black-ops agent who is betrayed and murdered and his soul is sent to hell for all the innocent people he killed.

He makes a deal with a demon who allows him to return to Earth to see his wife but she has moved on and he becomes trapped in the middle of a war between Heaven and Hell.

Comic book creator Todd McFarlane will make his directorial debut with the project and also wrote the script.

The film is reportedly looking to start production this fall.
