Miley Cyrus Yells 'Free Britney!' During Beale Street Festival Performance

Miley Cyrus is Team Britney Spears.

The 26-year-old singer hit the stage for a performance during the 2019 Beale Street Music Festival on Saturday afternoon (May 4) in Memphis, Tenn, and gave the 37-year-old “Toxic” singer a shout-out.

While singing her hit “Party in the U.S.A.” and she got to the “And a Britney song was on” lyrics, she also shouted “Free Britney!”

If you didn’t know, fans started a #FreeBritney Campaign on Twitter to call for an end to her lifetime conservatorship, which she’s been under since 2008.
