It all started when Gigi posted an Instagram Story that read, “Sunday in the kitchen about to marinate the chicken for one of my favorites!!! @mammamalik’s Chicken Curry Pasta Salad.” She tagged Zayn‘s mom Trisha in the photo, and Trisha reposted the photo on her own Instagram Story.

Later, Trisha reposted a post from a Gigi and Zayn fan Instagram. The post is a video of Gigi being asked, “What’s your favorite restaurant in the world?” and she responded, “My boyfriend’s mom’s house.”
