Meghan Markle Visits Vancouver Women's Center Amid Royal Drama

Meghan, Duchess of Sussex (AKA Meghan Markle) is getting back to her philanthropy.

The 38-year-old royal made an appearance at the Downtown Eastside Women’s Centre on Tuesday (January 14), marking her first public appearance since the news of her and Prince Harry‘s desire to step back from royal duties.

She discussed “issues affecting women in the community,” according to the community center organization’s Facebook page.

“Look who we had tea with today! The Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle, visited us today to discuss issues affecting women in the community,” the post reads on their page. In the picture, Meghan can be seen smiling with a group of women.
