'Game of Thrones' Star Hafthor Julius Bjornsson Sets World Record for Deadlift - Watch! (Video)

Hafthor Julius Bjornsson is setting a new record!

The 31-year-old Game of Thrones star, who played Gregor Clegane on the hit show, now holds the world record for deadlift as of Saturday (May 2).

Hafthor set the record for deadlift at 501 kilograms (1102.31 pounds), defeating the previous record held by Eddie Hall, which was set in 2016.

“I believe today I could’ve done more, but what’s the point? I’m happy with this. My family and friends, they were happy with this, and I’ve decided to call it,” he said after the accomplishment.
