Kate Middleton & Prince William Adopted A New Puppy Just Before Their Other Dog Lupo Died

Prince William and Kate Middleton have added a new member to their family – a new puppy!

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge welcomed the new canine into their family last year, just a few months before their first dog, Lupo, passed away.

“The new puppy is adorable and the whole family are besotted,” a source shared with Daily Mail. “They were devastated when Lupo passed away. It was hoped that a younger dog would give Lupo some company and give him a little more life and energy.”

“Very sadly last weekend our dear dog, Lupo, passed away. He has been at the heart of our family for the past nine years and we will miss him so much. – W & C,” the royal couple wrote about Lupo‘s passing on November of last year.

The new dog is reportedly one of the puppies Lupo‘s sister, Luna, who lives with James Middleton, Kate‘s younger brother.

Luna had six cocker spaniel puppies just last year, and James noted on his Instagram that all six would be going to loving home. One just happened to be Anmer Hall, where the Cambridges are currently based during the pandemic.

No name or image of the new puppy has been shared yet by the Cambridge family.

Just recently, it was revealed how Kate celebrated her 39th birthday earlier this month.
