Chrissy Teigen Shares Photo From the Hospital As She's About to Undergo Surgery

The Cravings cookbook author posted a photo to her Instagram Story from her hospital bed as she awaits her surgery for Endometriosis.

According to the Mayo Clinic, the condition is an “often painful disorder in which tissue similar to the tissue that normally lines the inside of your uterus — the endometrium — grows outside your uterus.”

Chrissy revealed that the planned surgery is now taking place the same week that her late son Jack was supposed to be born.

Chrissy recently wrote an essay, reflecting on her pregnancy loss and revealed the reasons she chose to share her story and the images from the hospital with fans.
