George Lopez to Star with Daughter Mayan in New Comedy Pilot!

George Lopez is teaming up with his daughter Mayan for a new show!

The 60-year-old actor and his 25-year-old daughter will be starring in the new comedy Lopez vs. Lopez, which has received a put pilot commitment by NBC, Deadline reports.

Lopez vs. Lopez is being described as “a working-class family comedy about dysfunction, reconnection and all the pain and joy in between.”

The show is being executive produced by The Conners showrunner Bruce Helford, who co-created George Lopez with George.

George starred in George Lopez on ABC for six seasons, running from 2002 until 2007. After the show ended, he starred in two other comedy series – FX’s Saint George and TV Land’s Lopez. He also hosted a late-night talk show for TBS.
