Saturday Night Live funny lady Vanessa Bayer impersonates Miley Cyrus as she and Shailene Woodley prep to intro her song “We Can’t Stop” on stage at the 2013 MTV Video Music Awards held at the Barclays Center on Sunday (August 25) in Brooklyn, N.Y.

Vanessa is known for her impersonation of Miley - it has become a recurring character on SNL with former cast member Jason Sudeikis portraying dad Billy Ray Cyrus.

Kanye West takes the stage in near darkness for his performance of “Blood on the Leaves” during the 2013 MTV Video Music Awards held at the Barclays Center on Sunday (August 25) in Brooklyn, N.Y.

The 36-year-old entertainer took the stage to perform his hit off of his album Yeezus – this performance marked Kanye‘s tie with Madonna for most performances at the VMAs since they started many years ago!

Earlier in the day, Austin was suave in black while walking the red carpet at the famed award ceremony.

Robin Thicke sticks around on stage after his duet with Miley Cyrus to belt out “Give It 2 U” at the 2013 MTV Video Music Awards held at the Barclays Center on Sunday (August 25) in Brooklyn, N.Y.

The 36-year-old entertainer was joined by rappers 2 Chainz and Kendrick Lamar for the final performance in his big medley.

“Go time. Make sure you’re tuned in to the @MTV #VMA’s. Hitting the stage soon.” Robin tweeted. “That was dope. Shout out to @MileyCyrus @kendricklamar @2chainz #VMA” he added later.

Ariana Grande hits the stage in a purple dress during the pre-show before the 2013 MTV Video Music Awards held at the Barclays Center on Sunday (August 25) in Brooklyn, N.Y.

The 20-year-old singer sounded amazing while doing a medley of her songs “The Way” and “Baby I” to help kick-off the show.
