It was a big night at the 2018 American Music Awards, which celebrated the best in music according to the fans.

All of the awards were voted on by fans and the big winner of the night was Taylor Swift, who went home with four awards and even set a record for most wins ever by a female artist.

Taylor now has 23 wins in total, including Artist of the Year, Favorite Album – Pop/Rock, and Tour of the Year from tonight.

Camila Cabello also picked up four awards, including New Artist of the Year.

Camila Cabello went for an over the top performance at the 2018 American Music Awards that was just perfect on Tuesday (October 9) at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles.

The 21-year-old musician performed her new single “Consequences” ahead of the music video debuting later this week.

Camila also picked up her second award of the night for New Artist of the Year. Earlier in the show, she won the Favorite Pop/Rock Song for “Havana”.

Taylor Swift has broken an impressive record at the AMAs – she has the most wins for a female artist!

The 28-year-old singer broke the record after winning the award for Artist of the Year at the 2018 American Music Awards on Tuesday (October 9) at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles.

Taylor also won Tour of the Year, Favorite Female Artist – Pop/Rock, and Favorite Album – Pop/Rock for reputation during the evening. She now has 23 wins, breaking the previous record set by the late Whitney Houston with 21 wins.

During the Artist of the Year speech, Taylor concluded by saying, “I just wanted to make a mention of the fact that this award and every single award given out tonight were voted on by the people, and you know what else is voted on by the people, is the midterm elections on November 6. Get out and vote. I love you guys.”

The award was presented to Taylor by Lenny Kravitz.

FYI: Taylor carried her Giuseppe Zanotti clutch on stage.

Jennifer Lopez just dropped her new song!

The 49-year-old entertainer hit the stage at the 2018 American Music Awards on Tuesday night (October 9) to perform her latest song “Limitless.”

Dressed in a sparkling white jumpsuit and matching blazer, Jennifer belted out her new song – which is featured in her upcoming movie Second Act – while being joined on stage by a group of dancers.

XXXTentacion‘s family is accepting an award on the late rapper’s behalf at the 2018 American Music Awards on Tuesday (October 9) at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles.

“I’m so nervous, you guys…I am honored to accept this award on behalf of my son. I would like to thank the AMAs, his fans, and to everyone who made this possible,” his mother Cleopatra Bernard said while tearing up and accepting the award.

In June, the late entertainer was shopping for a motorcycle in Miami, Fla. when a gunman ran up to his car and opened fire.

Billy Eichner delivers an important message on stage at the 2018 American Music Awards on Tuesday (October 9) at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles.

The 40-year-old American Horror Story actor was joined by Kathryn Hahn while presenting an award during the show.

“Young people of America, the biggest election of our lifetime is happening. That’s right. Tonight is the final night to register in 20 states in this country,” Billy said during the speech. “Please grab your friends. Tell them to vote. If you believe in equality for women, for people of color, for the LGBTQ community. If you believe that climate change is real and that we need to do something about it, don’t let anyone tell you your vote won’t count.”

“Register and vote. You can go to Vote.gov, just like Taylor Swift told you,” he ended the speech.

Dua Lipa is heating up the stage with a performance of “Electricity” at the 2018 American Music Awards on Tuesday (October 9) at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles.

The hot track, a collaboration with Diplo and Mark Ronson, was released in September.

Dua also performed part of her global smash hit with Calvin Harris, “One Kiss.”

“Early-ish night. earlier than usual. excited for tomorrow as we’re bringing electricity back but better… we’ll just call her electra ⚡️💙,” Dua wrote on her Instagram before the performance.
