Saoirse Ronan & Helen Mirren Join Forces at AARP's Movies For Grownups Awards 2018

Saoirse Ronan stunned in a sleeveless, light grey cut-out dress at AARP’s 2018 Movies For Grownups Awards!

The 23-year-old actress hit the red carpet at the event held at the Beverly Wilshire Four Seasons Hotel on Monday (February 5) in Beverly Hills, Calif.

She paired her dress with strappy black heels and dazzling drop earrings.

Saoirse was joined by Helen Mirren, who looked elegant in a dark blue, long-sleeve dress with lighter blue and silver details and matching earrings.

Also in attendance were Saoirse‘s Lady Bird co-star Laurie Metcalf and director Greta Gerwig, as well as Taylor Hackford, Gary Oldman, his wife Gisele Schmidt, Willem Dafoe, Jane Seymour, Blythe Danner, Alan Cumming, Kelly Marie Tran, Mark Hamill, his wife Marilou York, and Rian Johnson.

Alfre Woodard, Annette Bening, Betty Gabriel, Blanca Blanco, Bojana Novakovic, Doug Jones, Frances Fisher, Wendie Malick, and Valeria Cotto also stepped out to show their support.

Sophia Bush buddies up with Marisa Tomei and Connie Britton at this afternoon’s 2018 Women’s March on Saturday (January 20) in Los Angeles.

The ladies were just a few of the actresses that hit the stage share empowering messages to the half of a million people in attendance!

After her speech, Connie took to Instagram to share this powerful message: “Holding hearts over LA! And talking about upstanders…those who stand up and do something when they see injustice. Today’s Womens’ Marches around the country were filled with upstanders. And when you put a bunch of upstanders together…that’s a movement! Especially when it’s HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS OF THEM! And we’re going to upstand all the way to the voting booth!”

Anderson Cooper, Sterling K. Brown, Andrew Rannells & More Hit the Red Carpet for CNN Heroes All-Star Tribute 2017!

Anderson Cooper, Sterling K. Brown and Andrew Rannells are all looking dapper on the red carpet!

The three joined many other stars on the red carpet on Sunday night (December 17) for the 2017 CNN Heroes All-Star Tribute hosted at the American Museum of Natural History in New York City.

Sterling was joined on the red carpet by his wife, Ryan Michelle Bathe.

Kristen Bell, Garrett Hedlund & More Help Announce Golden Globes 2018 Nominations!

Kristen Bell is picture perfect while striking a pose at the 2018 Golden Globe Awards Nominations Announcement held on Monday morning (December 11) in Los Angeles.

The 37-year-old Bad Moms Christmas star along with Garrett Hedlund, Sharon Stone and Alfre Woodard gathered bright and early to announce this year’s nominees.

Also in attendance was Dwayne Johnson‘s daughter Simone, who was recently named Golden Globe Ambassador – a title formerly known as Miss Golden Globes up until this year. She will help during the ceremony next year by ushering presenters on and off stage and handing out awards.

Beyonce Knowles Will Play Nala in 'The Lion King' 2019 Remake!

Following casting rumors that swirled earlier this year, it’s now official: Beyonce Knowles is playing Nala in Disney’s upcoming 2019 remake of The Lion King!

The full all-star lineup for the Jon Favreau-directed new take on 1994 classic The Lion King was announced on Wednesday evening (November 1), including Donald Glover as Simba, James Earl Jones as Mufasa (reprising his iconic original role), Chiwetel Ejiofor as Scar and Alfre Woodard as Sarabi.

John Oliver will play Zazu, while Seth Rogen will play Pumbaa. Billy Eichner will play Timon.

The upcoming film will utilize “pioneering filmmaking techniques to bring treasured characters to life in a whole new way.”

Beyonce also shared the news on her Facebook.

Iman, Jay Manuel & Jillian Hervey Celebrate Jay Manuel Beauty Launch!

Iman is picture perfect as she strikes a pose alongside her business partner Jay Manuel and singer Jillian Hervey at their Jay Manuel Beauty x Simon Launch Celebration held at Highline Stages on Wednesday (October 25) in New York City.

The 62-year-old supermodel and 45-year-old makeup artist were joined at the launch by Alfre Woodard, J. Alexander, designers The BlondsDavid and Phillipe Blond – and DJ Jon ALi.

Iman and Jay have linked with Simon on a series of permanent retail concepts for the makeup line – called the Jay Manuel Beauty Retail Experience – that will be stationed within busy common areas inside Simon shopping centers.

“The first location will open on Nov. 16 at the Roosevelt Field Mall in Garden City, N.Y. Several more locations are slated to roll out to other Simon properties next year,” WWD reports.
