Dwayne Johnson joins the cast of Baywatch on the beach in an official photo from the upcoming movie, set to hit theaters May 19, 2017.

The 44-year-old actor was featured alongside his co-stars Zac Efron, Kelly Rohrbach, Ilfenesh Hadera, Alexandra Daddario and Jon Bass in a postcard celebrating “Bay Day” unveiled one year ahead of the theatrical release date.

That day, Dwayne took to Instagram to announce that production on the movie had wrapped, writing, “That’s an official wrap! Holy sh*t we had a blast pushing the rated R envelope. Hilarious, bad ass and highly dysfunctional ‘Avenger’s of the beach’ come home.”

The 28-year-old actor was joined at the night shoot by his co-stars Kelly Rohrbach and Alexandra Daddario.

Kelly was dressed in a glamorous look from the waist up, most likely shooting close-ups. Alexandra was spotted sitting alone on the doc while checking her phone between takes.

Two nights earlier, Zac had been spotted out hanging out with some friends at one of the local bars in town.

Zac Efron is laughing off the tumble he took on the set of his new movie Baywatch this week!

The 28-year-old actor had been doing the classic Baywatch run alongside his co-stars during a take when he fell head first into the sand.

The fall may have been scripted, but Zac still laughed it off on social media on Tuesday (April 26).

“*Think cool thoughts* run cool- hit em w/ that COOL #Baywatch run… Oh yeah, Feelin it *think coo- AGH WTF #notcool,” Zac wrote on Twitter alongside the pictures.

Pamela Anderson has officially joined the star-studded cast of the Baywatch movie!

The 48-year-old actress famously starred on the television series and helped make the red swimsuits and slow running on the beach iconic.

“She introduced the world to ‘CJ Parker’ and became one of the most iconic characters of a generation – for the most successful TV show of all time,” the movie’s star and producer, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, wrote on Instagram.

“A pleasure to welcome (as gorgeous as ever) Pamela Anderson to our #BAYWATCH cast. We couldn’t have made this movie without you. Welcome home. Thrilled you had a blast with us!” he added.

Alexandra Daddario breaks out in a sprint while filming a scene for her upcoming movie Baywatch on Wednesday (April 20) in Tybee, Ga.

The 30-year-old actress wore a two-piece athletic outfit as she ran through the sand on set.

Alexandra took to Twitter the day before to share a message for someone who had made mean comments about her karaoke skills earlier in the week.

“To the guy at karaoke who told me ‘you sounded like a cat being thrown against a wall’: I’ve imagined punching you at least 40 times, idiot,” she wrote.

The 28-year-old actor and Dwayne, 43, were seen goofing around with a female co-star between takes.

Dwayne took to Instagram that day to give some insight into the feel of the movie.

“We’re the #Avengers of the beach (minus all the cool super powers and flying around sh-t) mixed with enough rated R raunch comedy that’ll make one of my boyhood heroes, Richard Pryor very proud,” Dwayne wrote.

Kelly Rohrbach takes to the mic while shooting a scene for the upcoming movie Baywatch on Tuesday (April 19) in Tybee, Ga.

The 26-year-old actress wore a red zip-up swimsuit as she filmed scenes on set that day.

At one point during filming, Kelly stood up on a platform and seemed to be singing into a microphone while cameras rolled.

Kelly was joined on set that day by her co-star Dwayne Johnson.
