Joanna Garcia wraps her arms around co-star Jake Lacy in these promo pics for their new ABC comedy Better With You.
Joanna plays free-spirited Mia, who’s pregnant and engaged to a guy (Lacy) she’s known for only seven weeks.
The series, which airs Wednesdays at 8:30 p.m., also stars That ’70s Show‘s Debra Jo Rupp.
Joanna recently confessed she’s a bit worried about her character’s wardrobe. “You’re gonna put me on TV in a big white wedding dress with a 65-inch waistband? Seriously?” she told TV Guide with a laugh.
As for her real-life wedding to New York Yankee Nick Swisher, “I’m not nearly as much of a concerned bride as I thought I’d be,” said Joanna. “Nick chose virtually everything but my dress. It’s pretty adorable.”
