Chris Klein has signed on for more American Pie!
The 32-year-old actor will reprise his role as Oz in American Reunion, the latest film in the franchise – also coming back for more Pie are Jason Biggs, Seann William Scott, Eugene Levy, and Alyson Hannigan.
Filming on the new project will begin at the end of next month!
Chris is back in action after taking time off and checking into a rehab facility in Utah last year to battle alcohol addiction.

The 31-year-old actor will spend a month at the Cirque Lodge in Utah, according to People, for a 30-day alcohol addiction program.
“After recent events, Chris was forced to take a clear look at a problem he has been trying to deal with himself for years,” Chris‘ rep, Jaime Primak, said in a statement. “He understands now that he can not beat this disease alone. He thanks everyone for their support as he takes all the necessary steps to deal with his addiction and asks for privacy while doing so.”
Chris was arrested early Wednesday morning (June 16) on suspicion of DUI.

The 31-year-old actor was stopped by an officer on L.A.’s 101 freeway just after 3 a.m. and did not pass a sobriety test, according to TMZ.
Last month, a bizarre video of Chris performing ABBA’s “Lay All Your Love on Me,” presumably for Mamma Mia!, surfaced online. Chris‘ rep had no comment when EW asked if the video was real.
UPDATE: TMZ reports that because Chris was arrested and convicted of DUI in 2004, he may serve jail time if he’s convicted again – California law mandates a minimum of a four-day sentence.

Co-stars Freddie Prinze Jr. and Chris Klein arrive at the world premiere screening of New York City Serenade during the Toronto International Film Festival 2007 held at the Varisty 8 theatre on Thursday.

Chris Klein makes his “lobbying” debut at a congressional hearing about arts eduction on Capitol Hill in Washington D.C., on Tuesday.
The American Pie star testified on the importance of restoring arts funding in public schools at a hearing before the House Appropriations Subcommittee on the Interior. Chris is seeking $176 million for the National Endowment for the Arts.
Chris revealed that arts programs at his Omaha high school led to his discovery and his movie debut in 1999′s Election co-starring Reese Witherspoon.
“Reese was amazing,” said Chris. “She gave me a full education on what it was going to take to make it in the business.”
