Chris Evans has revealed the movie role he wished he didn’t miss out on!

“Remember the movie Fracture with Ryan Gosling and Anthony Hopkins? That was my movie, man! That was my movie,” the 35-year-old Captain America star expressed on the red carpet while attending the 2016 GQ Men of the Year Awards on Wednesday (November 16) in Sydney, Australia.

“It was a long time ago. I didn’t have much of a career going for me at the time, but I had a really good audition and I met with the director and I loved the script, I loved the role,” Chris added. “Obviously if you’re going to lose to someone, lose to Ryan Gosling, but that was something I really wanted.”

Also in attendance at the ceremony was Suicide Squad co-stars Scott Eastwood and Jai Courtney and his girlfriend Mecki Dent, Jon Hamm and Luke Bracey.

Mel Gibson is dapper in a suit while making his way inside the Ed Sullivan Theater to make an appearance on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert on Monday (November 1) in New York City.

The 60-year-old actor-director was joined by the star of his film Hacksaw Ridge, Luke Bracey, as they promoted the flick, confirmed that there is a sequel to Passion Of The Christ titled Resurrection, and joined Stephen in his segment “Big Questions with Even Bigger Stars” – Watch all the clips below!

Recently, their other co-star Andrew Garfield opened up about spending Halloween with Mel while filming the movie and his terrifying tradition.

“Mel shows up and we get in the car with him and he gets out this mask. It’s like a Mission: Impossible mask. It’s the most detailed. Imagine your face but on Mel Gibson‘s face. And he can talk in it and it’s like flushed to his face. The mask kind of looks like a lumberjack from Oregon or something,” Andrew explained.

He went on to say that Mel would prank people at bars by taking the mask on and off and surprising them with his real face!

Andrew recently opened up about his role choices after Spider-Man.

“Having been in that environment for five years, which is a very specific environment, I was craving smaller,” Andrew told Variety. “I was craving tighter. I was craving a bit more pressure, in a weird way … There was a longing to simplify, I think, and to strip away excesses. I wanted to be able to fully focus on the simple job of being the storyteller as the actor. And that’s kind of where I want to be anyway, I think. Forever.”

Andrew Garfield looks sharp in a suit while attending the premiere of his new movie Hacksaw Ridge held during the 2016 Venice Film Festival at Sala Grande on Sunday (September 4) in Venice, Italy.

The 33-year-old actor was joined on the carpet by his co-stars Teresa Palmer, Vince Vaughn, Luke Bracey, and director Mel Gibson.

After being well received in early screenings, the film received a 10-minute standing ovation after the premiere.

Earlier in the day, the entire cast stepped out for the film’s photo call.

“I think we can aspire to that kind of righteous living as our true selves. That’s tricky in the culture we’re in right now,” Andrew told THR about the role. “It’s a pretty wild time we’re in. There’s a lot of violent uprising and separating and warring ideologies that are plaguing our beautiful planet right now.”
