Netflix is rounding out the cast of the upcoming series Cursed, which will star Katherine Langford in her first television role since leaving 13 Reasons Why.
Barry‘s Devon Terrell, Westworld‘s Gustaf Skarsgard, and Fear the Walking Dead‘s Daniel Sharman are among the actors who have joined the show.
Also joining the cast are Ozark‘s Peter Mullan, Pin Cushion‘s Lily Newmark, The State‘s Shalom Brune-Franklin, Poldark‘s Sebastian Armesto, Flack‘s Emily Coates, Versailles‘ Catherine Walker, and The Crown‘s Billy Jenkins.
Cursed, based on the upcoming book of the same name, is a re-imagining of the Arthurian legend, told through the eyes of the young woman who would become the Lady of the Lake. The coming-of-age story will explore themes familiar to our own time: the obliteration of the natural world, religious zeal and oppression, senseless war and finding the courage to lead in the face of the impossible.
Production begins this month in England and Wales.
