Nicole Richie Hops Three Planes From LA to NY

Nicole Richie waves to her fans who had to wait extra long for her to arrive to a book signing on Tuesday (September 28) in New York.

The 29-year-old author of Priceless explained on her Twitter that she left for the airport in Los Angeles at 5am, but the plane had engine trouble. After hopping onto another plane, she got grounded in Chicago due to weather.

Finally, Nicole got onto a plane to NY and went directly to the book signing, for which she was two hours late.

Feeling awful for her tardiness, Nicole tweeted many of the fans waiting in line telling them to stay put and to let everyone know she was coming.

Glad she finally made it!

The following morning, Nicole made an appearance on Good Morning America.
